2007 Paddling Trips from Knubble Bay

Interested in gaining more experience in ocean paddling? Or are you in need of fine tuning some of your skills? The volunteer managed facility Knubble Bay in Georgetown, Maine has announced its paddling trips for the 2007 season. There is something for new and experienced paddlers alike that will accompany good food and camaraderie in a beautiful ocean setting!

Tidewater Canoe Camping Weekend
May 25 – 28
Beal Island, Georgetown, Maine
Easy paddling, good food and informal instruction available.
A great introduction to an area ideal for sea kayaking. Option of both
introductory and advanced day trips.
Camping on Beal Island.

Newcomers’ Kayaking Weekend
June 1- 3
A weekend introduction to Beal Island and the new Knubble Bay Cabin. Sea kayaking, canoeing and hikes to local beaches. Wonderful food, excellent conversation, friendship and killer Scrabble.
Lodging at Knubble Bay Camp.
$65 for AMC members ($70 non).

Chart and Compass Sea Kayaking Weekend
