Mt Abram has generously agreed to again include AMC in their corporate program. Members will receive the corporate rate of $33 for adults and $27 for children and young adults (thru age 17) any day, a nice savings from the regular rates of $43 and $32! A member need only present the AMC membership card with an up-to-date sticker to receive these rates for the member and that member’s immediate family. On Thursdays and Fridays, tickets are 2 for $36 - not a corporate rate, but certainly a good deal!

Mt. Abram is in Greenwood, just north of Bryant Pond on route 26. It is a favorite for telemark skiers, and also has snowboarding, and a tubing park ($12). Mt. Abram has remained relatively small, folksy, and unhurried. Parking is right behind the rustic lodge. The full services are available, including rentals, instruction, day care center, retail shop, and an après ski lounge. Tasty soups and a nice range of other goodies are available for lunch – or bring your own.

The Westside beginner’s area is separate, making it a safe area, but connected to the main trails for easy access.

For x-country and backcountry skiing and snowshoeing, a section has been set aside east of the lodge; stop at the lodge to get a free pass.

We are pleased to have this relationship with Mt. Abram. For more information, members can go to the website, skimtabram.com, or call AMC skier Carolyn Welch at 725-8178.
