Becoming an Outdoor Woman- Summer Weekend

This year’s summer weekend workshop is June 5-7, 2015 at Nicatous Lodge and Cabins in Greenbush, Maine. Becoming an Outdoors-Woman is sponsored by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife. It offers programs aimed primarily at women 18 years and older who are interested in learning or improving their skills in hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation in a safe and comfortable environment. Class sessions include freshwater fishing, rifle and shotgun handling, outdoor survival, archery and map and compass. These workshops provide the opportunity to learn about the outdoors but to also provide a venue for women to learn more about themselves.
