As a token of appreciation, the Department of Conservation, Bureau of Parks & Lands is celebrating Conservation Plate Holder Appreciation Days. For those with “Loony” license plates, free admission for all occupants will be granted to Maine state parks and historic places on July 19 & 20, 2008.
