L.L. Bean has an exciting opportunity for instructors to teach Paddling and Outdoor Skills in our Outdoor Discovery School (ODS). Responsibilities for this position include: site preparation, lesson plan execution, on-site resolution of customer service issues, administrative duties related to ODS operations and maintenance of support materials.

Hours will range between 8-40 per week including some weekends. Instructors will be giving between May and October.  There are also opportunities available that require a minimum of 8 hours per month.

Strong communications skills are required. Must be a Registered Maine Guide with a Sea Kayak license and have current First Aid and CPR Certifications. Maine Guide Recreation license, WAFA and ACA certifications are preferred.
