Another warm and sunny day with a good friendly & strong group of hikers.
The snow pack is now gone below 3500' but is still deep in places above
that point. This hike involved shorts and snowshoes. The views
from the cirque were wonderful and the gray jays were as always quite sociable
during our summit lunch break. Also, the Caribou Valley Road was in
passable condition to the AT but is quite a bit rougher beyond.
