| Comments | Good hiking boots with good traction to make it over the damp ledges on the south side of the mountain. Fresh moleskin to help with getting the feet used to summer boots (mine had been in the pack too long and obviously seen too much temperature changes). |

9.9 mile loop hike covering Piper, Weetamoo, Hammond and Liberty trails. Trails were the driest I have seen in May and the snow was gone from the trails. Unsettled weather gave us a brief shower just prior to the summit. Great day. Thanks to co-leader Mike and hikers Clair, Scott, Peter and Gabrielle for making it a great hike.
