1999 Maine Chapter Trail Work Trips

May 1 Tumdledown Mountain, Brook Trail.  We will be removing winter blowdowns, brushing, and cleaning drainage.  Please wear appropriate clothing, work/hiking boots, gloves.  Also, participants should be in good physical conditioon.  Weather and trail conditions may force changes or cancellations.  It is best to call for updates by Wednesday before scheduled date.   Tools will be provided.  L. June 4,5,6 5th Annual Weld National Trails Day Celebration

Nov 14 Maine Chapter members are invited to participate in a hike and trail maintenance on the Bald Peak Trail on Pleasant Mtn. in Bridgetown beginning at 9am on Nov. 14th (originally scheduled for 11/7).  The work is being done in cooperation with the Paul Petzoldt School. Bring work gloves, lunch and a willingness to work on the trail. Call leader Paul Bortz at 636-3255 if you plan to attend.
