Join us on Tuesday, March 3 as Tulle Frazer and Rob Bryan share their adventures hiking the Grande Traversee des Alpes! The Grande Traversée des Alpes (GTA) is a hiking trail which runs from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean through the French Alps, close to the borders of Switzerland and Italy. The trail covers about 380 to 450 miles, and typically takes about six weeks to complete. The GTA is the highest part of the longer GR5 (Grande Randonnée Cinq) which runs 1,600 miles from the North Sea in Holland to the Mediterranean at Nice, France. Their group of four stayed at mountain huts, farms, and small village hotels that cater to hikers. This event will be held at the Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant Street, Brunswick starting at 7:00 PM. FMI contact: Lisa Pengel
