Join us on Thursday April 6 for an evening presentation in Brunswick as John Connelly shares this journey with us. On June 25th, 2016, he became the first to both canoe the Northern Forest Canoe Trail and kayak the Maine Island Trail, but went a step further connecting them with the Saint John River and Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, Canada; 1500-miles in 75-days on this solo expedition! Find out how he met the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and survived violent storms. Presentation starts at 7pm at the Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick (23 Pleasant Street). Optional potluck dinner will start at 6pm (please bring a dish to share, help us be green and bring your own cup, plates and silverware). Doors open at 5:30pm. Free and open to the public. For more information, download a flyer or please contact Michelle Moody for more information.
