Tell Your Tale!

A huge Thank You to Fran Leyman for her awesome presentation last month on rafting the Grand Canyon! She enthralled a full room of 40 folks with her tales and photos of geologic features, flora, faura, and big, big rapids!! Fran joins Ken Hutchins, Carey Kish, and Larry Perkins as other AMC Members who have shared their stories of great adventure this year as part of the Meetings and Education monthly events.

The Potluck and Presentation events will take a summer break in July and August and all members should save the dates of September 26 thru 28, 2008 for the Annual Meeting of the AMC Maine Chapter. The Potluck and Presentation events will begin again in October 2008 and the Meetings and Education Committee is looking for folks to help us continue this successful series. Here’s your opportunity to share your experiences in traveling, lessons learned, or just plain good times with your fellow AMC members.
