The Coast to Coast Trail, England

Reminder to join Jan and Ray Ronan this Tuesday, November 17 as they re-live their 2008 hike across Northern England on the “Coast to Coast Trail”. Starting on the west coast at St. Bees they traveled 190 miles Inn-to-Inn in 17 days, ending in the quaint town of Robin Hood’s Bay. See the spectacular scenery of the Lakes district, the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors. They will share stories and information on transportation, accommodations, and other information sources. They’ll have maps, books, brochures and websites to share. The event will be at the Morrell Room, Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant Street, Brunswick, Maine. Parking is available on the street and off Union Street. A potluck dinner will begin at 6 pm followed by the presentation at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a potluck item and their own dinnerware (plate, utensils etc.). Drinks will be provided and plastic-ware will be available.
