Last Saturday (12/19/98) I participated in a hike with the Maine chapter, Jay Spenciner and Alice McKenna leading. I took the photo of the group on the summit of Mt. Clinton (Pierce) in the NH White Mountains, our final destination. It was an overcast day with light snow, gentle breeze, but mild by White Mountain standards - in the 20's. Not enough snow for snowshoes or ice for full crampons.
