March 18th, 2000 Trip to Omni Imax Theater in Boston

Plans are in the final stages for the March 18th motor trip to Boston. This year we will be treated to the "Mysteries of Egypt", an IMAX film produced in collaboration with National Geographic. Aircraft and balloon footage combine dramatically to send viewers skimming the Nile, soaring over desert landscapes, and floating above 50 story tall pyramids. We will see the morning show and from there be driven by our Maineline bus to Quincy Market area where we are free to explore the fine shops and restaurants and the Aquarium is within walking distance also.

We will meet at 7:30 AM in the Shop and Save parking lot at the Maine Mall. The cost is $21.00 p/p for the bus ride and movie. We will be returning to So Portland by 7:00 PM.
