Looking for an evening adventure into the North Woods? Join us on Thursday, September 15th to hear the first female through paddler of the 740-mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail as she reflects on 10 years of paddling along its waterways. Nicole Grohoski of Ellsworth will share a short, home-grown film about her 2006 trip as well as photos and stories of times along the trail since that epic paddle. Come and learn more about this amazing paddling resource, 347 miles of which cross some of the most spectacular waters of Maine. Location is the Bangor Public Library (145 Harlow Street) beginning at 6PM. Event is free and open to the public. Download a flyer.
